BIOPORE Custom Implants are prescription devices made to a patient's individual needs.
Implants are manufactured to fit precisely a specific patient's requirement, starting from data provided by the surgeon.
Same as the other Biopore implans, Custom Implants are intended for non-weight bearing applications: uses in craniofacial reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, repair of craniofacial trauma, are also intended for augmentation or restoration of contour in the craniofacial skeleton.
Custom Implants may be trimmed during the surgery if surgeon wants to make some modifications. it can be fixed with suture, surgical wire, or rigid fixation.
