|
Extended Malar Contoured Implants |
BIOPORE implant Sheets provide the surgeon with excellent reconstructive options for orbital floor and wall repair. It also permits various applications in craniofacial reconstruction in maxillofacial corrections and reconstructive surgeries.
The sheets are porous on both sides allowing rapid fibrovascular ingrowth. This allows a firm scaffold for reconstruction.
The applications of the BIOPORE sheet are limited only by the imagination of the surgeon. The experience with these sheet implants has shown it to have diverse applications in various craniofacial and neurosurgical reconstructions. The ready availability of BIOPORE Sheets helps the surgeon avoid the morbidity and time associated with harvesting the graft material. |

BIOPORE TissuBlock© Implants |
TissuBlock© are specially designed sheets. This has a special noporous barrier on one side to prevent tissue attachment to the implant surface.
The barrier is made of non-porous, high-density polyethylene.
It is heat-bonded to the porous material.
This eliminates the need for adhesives or additives.
The porous side of the implant becomes vascularized
in the same manner as a regular BIOPORE sheet implant.
The barrier sheets are available in two barrier patterns,
with either a trumpet-shaped or a rectangular barrier.
The trumpet shaped barrier is specially designed for the orbital floor repairs. The rectangular barrier has diverse applications in maxillofacial and neurosurgical surgeries. |

BIOPORE Extended Inferior Orbital Rim Implants |
The extended inferior orbital rim implants allows augmentation of the inferior orbital rim and support for the lower lid.
This allows excellent correction of prominent eye balls / Exophthalmos / Graves Ophthalmopathy. It can also be used in cases of trauma for restoration of the defects.
The special properties of BIOPORE Implant allows the surgeon
to shape a portion of the rim with a scalpel to conform to the contours desired by the surgeon.
Two point screw fixation is recommended. |

BIOPORE Malar Contoured Implants, Extended and Extracurved |
These implants allow the surgeon to achieve complete augmentation from the nasal area to the zygomatous arch.
As with other BIOPORE implants these shapes can also be trimmed and shaped to the exact requirements of the patient. |
